Frantz Cialec

Originally from the Caribbean, Frantz Cialec is a singer and composer. His deep, warm voice is both moving and powerful and moves briskly from one style to another, ranging from negro-spirituals to opera.

In 1989, he took part in the 1st Festival of Gospel Song in Boulogne, France, and in 1990 he won first place in the Leopold-Belan song contest and second place International Ufam song contest in Paris.

He worked several seasons with the Theatre of Arts of Rouen and took part in the International Festival of Choregies d'Orange. He has also continued giving recitals of a capela negro-spirituals in churches of the Paris areas.

In 2000, he participated in the 7th International Festival of Gospel and Negro-spiritual Music in Paris and in the Festivities of Millénium de Frápillon.

In 2001, he performed at the Festival of the African Palabres of Besaníon, paying homage Pasteur Sullivan in the American Church of Paris.

Frantz Cialec also has a passion for compter-assisted music and musical composition. sing these talents he has composed and set to music more than 100 instrumental works in the world music genre.

In 2002, he produced an album entitled "Mosaic rainbow" where he interprets famous aria of opera, negro-spirituals, and some personal creation.

A fourth album has just appeared in March 2003, entitled "Incantations baha' ies : festival of meditatives musics ", where the themes of the music he interprets resound as a positive alternative to the sad truth of actual events in the world.

As an artist, Cialec is passionate about the unity and harmony of all races and religions. Through his music he expresses this message of peace and hope and justice.
